Know all men by these presents that I William Chribbs late of Fort Massac Randolph County Indiana Territory N West the river Ohio do of my own free will and accord make this my last and deed of free gift of the following property unto my daughter Mary Chribbs in consequence of her said Mary’s unfirm state of body. Given under my hand and seal as my free act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned Viz

The total of those items or property amounting to twelve hundred and sixty dollars & fifty cents good & lawfull money of the United States which I do freely & of my own accord grant & convey unto the said Mary Chribbs under the following restrictions to wit the said property or at least the use of the said property is to be & remain subject to the control & direction of my wife Eliza Chribbs during her natural life or untill by & with the free consent of the parties concerned it might or may be thought proper to revoke the within –

This day personally appeared before me (there being no Justice of the Peace or associate Justice of the Court for said Territory at or near this place) William King & Mathew Adams of the Territory and County aforesaid and made oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that the within [ ] of writing to which their names are affixed as witnesses is the act and deed of William Chribbs written signed and sealed with his own hand the day and month as within mentioned
